Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 commercial construction company. You will manage project documentation, registers and databases, control document distribution and versioning, and coordinate information flow between teams and stakeholders.

You will support Project Managers and site teams, ensuring adherence to procedures and assisting with reporting and audits on major commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Document Control or Project Administration within commercial construction.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
• Ability to manage high volumes of documentation and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining project documentation, registers and databases.
• Controlling distribution, revision and filing of project documents.
• Ensuring documents are version-controlled and easily accessible.
• Coordinating information flow between project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Uploading and managing documentation through project management systems.
• Maintaining document registers and following up outstanding documentation.
• Supporting project managers, contract administrators and site teams.
• Ensuring documentation aligns with procedures and assisting audits and reporting.
