Job summary

Built is seeking a Document Controller to work with the Design Management team on document control and design change processes for major projects in Australia. You will support the Senior Contract Administrator and Senior Project Manager while ensuring design documentation remains current and properly distributed.

In this role you will manage subcontractor documentation, cost reports and project reporting, helping keep programs and payments on track.

Qualifications

• Related work experience in a similar role on major projects.
• Experience within the Sydney construction industry.
• Completion of a diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration or other relevant area.
• Be able to show longevity with past employers and exemplary references.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance - Assist the design and delivery teams in the submission and approval of samples, maintenance of registers and collation of materials.
• Managing Subcontractor Documentation - Assist in the management of subcontractor document control requirements, claims and payments.
• Design - Management and distribution of design documentation ensuring weekly checks are undertaken, follow up issue of updated drawings and handover forms etc.
• Programming - Ensuring up to date programs are transmitted to all subcontractors, timely submission of cost reports and project reporting.
• Commercial - Assist with subcontractor payments, creditor invoices and ensure all delivery, labour and day dockets are completed.
