Job summary

Holy Cross College Ryde, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, seeks a Diverse Learning Teacher to inspire students through personalised learning within a Catholic learning environment. You will support colleagues with differentiated instruction and manage inclusive practices for students with diverse learning needs.

Requirements include a tertiary qualification in Special Education and NESA accreditation; WWCC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• As a Diverse Learning Teacher you will develop personalised learning plans for students with diverse needs.
• You will differentiate curriculum, assessment and teaching strategies to support inclusive education.
• You will manage NCCD requirements and maintain accurate progress records.
• You will support positive behaviours and self-regulation in students.
• You will hold a tertiary qualification in Special Education and NESA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised learning plans and instruction tailored to student needs.
• Differentiate curriculum and assessments; advise staff on reasonable adjustments under standards.
• Monitor student progress and maintain case notes and support documentation.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to promote positive behaviours.
• Collaborate with teachers to support inclusive education practices.
