Job summary

Brigidine College St Ives on Sydney's North Shore is seeking a passionate Diverse Learning Teacher to join our dedicated Diverse Learning team.

You will support students with diverse and additional learning needs through personalised and coordinated approaches, developing and monitoring Individual Learning Plans and partnering with families, classroom teachers, Teacher Aides and external practitioners to enable meaningful participation and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current NESA teacher accreditation and qualifications in special or inclusive education, or a related field.
• Experience developing and reviewing Individual Learning Plans.
• Strong knowledge of differentiation and reasonable adjustments.
• Experience with NCCD processes, evidence, and moderation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support students with diverse learning needs via Individual Learning Plans and targeted strategies.
• Collaborate with families, classroom teachers and professionals to monitor progress.
• Assist differentiation and co-teaching across classes.
• Contribute to NCCD evidence, moderation and staff capability building.
• Coordinate examination provisions and student transition planning.
