Job summary

CPL is seeking casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Hervey Bay and surrounding suburbs. You’ll help people live independently, doing tasks that matter while working across shifts that may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

No prior experience is required for some roles; paid training and ongoing development are available. We foster a supportive, person-centred team focused on meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, assistance available from CPL.
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.
• A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
• Commitment to working collaboratively to deliver great outcomes.
• Strong listening and respectful communication skills.

Responsibilities

• No two days are the same — you’ll support people to live independently and do what matters to them.
• Help with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Support someone to get out into the community and attend appointments or social activities.
• Provide medication support as needed and assist with mobility (including hoists).

We’re looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Hervey Bay and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same — you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This could include:

• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community
• Attending appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required)
