Job summary

CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is seeking casual and permanent part-time Support Workers to assist people in Hervey Bay and surrounding suburbs. You’ll help individuals live more independently and engage in activities that matter to them, with shifts that fit varied schedules.

No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a person-centred team that focuses on outcomes. First Aid/CPR, Blue Card, and NDIS screening are supported by CPL, with paid training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can assist to obtain).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing, toileting).
• Help with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Support independence and community participation.
• Attend appointments or social activities with participants.
• Provide medication support.
• Assist with mobility (including hoists where required).

We’re looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Hervey Bay and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same — you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This could include:

• Personal care (showering, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community
• Attending appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required)

Shifts available
