Job summary

CPL is seeking casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Ipswich and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others, we’d love to hear from you.

You'll support people to live independently and do the things that matter to them, including meals, daily tasks, community outings, appointments, medication support and mobility assistance.

Qualifications

• A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
• A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
• Great listening and respectful communication skills.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you get these).
• Driver’s license and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• No two days are the same — you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Supporting someone to get out into the community.
• Attending appointments or social activities.
• Medication support.
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required).
