SILC (Supporting Independent Living Co-operative) Glenmore Park NSW is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join a team supporting three adult males with intellectual disabilities in their home in Glenmore Park.

We are looking for staff who are passionate about helping people live independently, build skills and enjoy a meaningful life. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and help create a positive, safe home environment.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates are required.
• Working With Children Check is required where applicable.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centred support tailored to residents’ needs, preferences and goals.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care and household tasks.
• Support community participation, social activities and appointments.
• Encourage independence, choice and decision-making.
• Implement individual support plans and behaviour support strategies.
• Administer medication where required and per policy.
• Maintain shift notes, incident reports and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals.
