Job summary

Morale Care Pty Ltd in NSW seeks a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide day-to-day support across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, Short Term Respite (STR) and Individualised Living Options (ILO). You’ll help people achieve independence, dignity and choice, guided by person-centred, rights-based practice.

Shifts include mornings, afternoons, weekends and sleepovers. You will follow individual support plans, document shift notes and incident reports, and work with families,

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.
• WWCC is required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification is essential.
• Strong communication and ability to follow detailed plans.
• Experience in SIL, ILO or similar disability support settings.
• Training in restrictive practices or PBS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centred support in SIL, STR, and ILO.
• Follow individual support plans and health care plans.
• Maintain shift notes and incident reports.
• Uphold rights, privacy and safeguarding.
• Collaborate with families, clinicians and team members.
• Promote independence and community participation.
