Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.

• Provide person-centred support tailored to residents’ needs, preferences and goals.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care and household tasks.
• Support community participation, social activities and appointments.

• Administer medication where required and per policy.
• Maintain shift notes, incident reports and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals.

• Assist with daily living activities, personal care and household tasks as required.

• Implement individual support plans and behaviour support strategies.
• Administer medication where required and in accordance with training and organisational policies.
• Maintain accurate shift notes, incident reports and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for support workers who are patient, proactive, reliable and genuinely enjoy working with people with disabilities.

• Previous experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Working With Children Check, where required.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including afternoons and weekends

Highly Regarded:

• Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support.
• Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Experience working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

We are currently recruiting for a range of shifts, with a particular focus on:

Shifts are available across weekdays and weekends:

• Monday and Tuesday: evenings
• Friday mornings
• Saturday and Sunday: day shifts

Additional shifts may also be available depending on the needs of the home.
