Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a Disability Support Leader to oversee two SIL homes in Cranbourne and Cheltenham. The role focuses on leading a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports for people with disability and driving service improvement with allied health and business partners.

The position is a 12-month maximum term full-time across Melbourne's southern suburbs, with travel between homes reimbursed per km.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in the delivery of disability services.
• Diploma in Social & Community Services or equivalent.
• Current Australian unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Proven influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to think creatively and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and provide advice and supervision to achieve positive outcomes.
• Ensure staff are skilled and knowledgeable in the delivery of supports.
• Collaborate, develop and maintain person centred support approaches.
• Manage the running of services including budgets, compliance and staff ratios.
• Collaborate with key business partners to ensure consistent delivery of a positive service.
• Manage, monitor and report on incidents and complaints.
• Participate in an on-call roster.
