Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Full Time Assistant Manager for Sailmaker Restaurant in Sydney, Australia. The Sailmaker is a large 272-seat dining destination with buffet breakfast and la carte dinner, offering modern Australian cuisine and views of Darling Harbour.

You will oversee restaurant service, supervise associates, train team members, and ensure HACCP and hotel policies are followed. A fast-paced environment requires strong leadership, guest focus, and excellent communication;

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality leadership or management in a large hotel/venue.
• Strong service mindset and guest focus.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and oversee service execution.
• Supervise associates and support training and development.
