Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking two Assistant Development Manager – Retail & Place to join the University Infrastructure team at Camperdown Campus. Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in property development across acquisition, planning and approvals, construction and sale.
• Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics or Project Management are desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver quality customer service and adapt to change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised.
• Planning, analysis and communication skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of development projects across feasibility, planning, approvals, procurement, design and delivery phases.
• Monitor project expenditure and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
• Assist in preparing project reports, committee papers and briefing materials.
• Coordinate communication between project teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Undertake research, data collection and analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
• Monitor market, planning and industry developments relevant to assigned projects.
