Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking two Assistant Development Managers to join the Property & Development team within University Infrastructure. You will help deliver a multi-site program that will create up to 2,000 new student beds, guiding feasibility, approvals, procurement, design and delivery from start to finish.

In this role you will coordinate consultants and contractors, assist with budgets and business-case inputs, perform analysis to support planning decisions, and prepare

Qualifications

• Experience in property development or major projects across at least one phase: feasibility, approvals, procurement, design or construction.
• Commercial and financial literacy, including feasibilities, budgets and cost reporting.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of consultants, contractors and stakeholders, and maintain project controls covering schedule, cost and risk.
• Support procurement from EOI and tender documentation through to evaluation and appointment.
• Assist with feasibility assessments, development budgets and business case inputs.
• Undertake research, data collection and analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports and recommendations.
• Support planning and approvals processes, including coordination of development application documentation.
• Uphold compliance with University governance, procurement, sustainability and WHS requirements.
