Job summary

University of Sydney is welcoming applications for two Assistant Development Manager - Retail & Place roles within the University Infrastructure team. The positions focus on planning, coordination and delivery of property and development projects across the campus portfolio.

You will work with Development Managers, project teams and stakeholders to deliver development outcomes from feasibility through to delivery, including governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in property development across acquisition, planning and approvals, construction and sale; experience in retail and place is desirable.
• Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics or Project Management are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of development projects across feasibility, planning, approvals, procurement, design and delivery phases.
• Monitor project expenditure and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
• Assist in preparing project reports, committee papers and briefing materials.
• Coordinate communication between project teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Undertake research, data collection and analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
• Monitor market, planning and industry developments relevant to assigned projects.
