Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking two Assistant Development Managers – Retail & Place to support the planning, coordination and delivery of property and development projects across the University's diverse portfolio. You will assist with feasibility, planning, approvals, procurement, design and delivery under the University Infrastructure team.

Based at Camperdown Campus, these full-time fixed-term roles offer a base salary of 131,108 AUD per annum plus 17% super.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in property development across acquisition, planning and approvals, construction and sale.
Experience in retail and place is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
Ability to deliver quality customer service and adapt to change.
Strong problem-solving and prioritisation under busy periods.

Responsibilities

Support planning and delivery of development projects through feasibility, planning, approvals, procurement, design and delivery phases.
Monitor project expenditure and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
Prepare project reports, committee papers and briefing materials.
Coordinate communication between project teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
Undertake research, data collection and analysis to support planning and decision-making.
Monitor market, planning and industry developments relevant to assigned projects.
