Job summary

CSR Limited is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate daily dispatch operations, manage transport documentation, and support driver interactions in our NSW site. You will ensure CoR compliance and safe, efficient deliveries, transfers and pickups, while leading the dispatch team in the absence of the DC Manager.

The role requires hands-on leadership, safety focus, and strong coordination with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to optimise yard movements and freight payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, warehousing or heavy vehicle operations.
• Strong understanding of CoR legislation and transport compliance.
• 3+ years' experience in a dispatch, transport coordination or logistics operations role.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety within a transport or logistics environment.
• Experience working with transport management systems, warehouse management systems or SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a strong commitment to safety.

• Create and manage transport shipments to ensure accurate freight allocation and vendor payments.
• Control yard movements and support efficient truck turnaround times.
• Liaise with drivers, transport providers, warehouse teams and customers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Utilise SAP and transport systems to process dispatch activities accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct site inductions and support adherence to safety requirements for visitors, contractors and drivers.
• Identify and implement improvements to dispatch processes and operational efficiency.

About the Role

Reporting to the DC Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities, managing transport documentation, supporting carrier and driver interactions, and ensuring deliveries, transfers and customer collections are completed safely and efficiently.

You will also act as the DC Manager's delegate during periods of absence, providing leadership, direction and support to the dispatch team while maintaining high standards of safety, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 5am to 3pm
