Job summary

CSR dispatch team in Australia is seeking an experienced coordinator to manage daily dispatch operations, including deliveries and stock transfers, while ensuring CoR compliance and safety. You will liaise with drivers, carriers and warehouse teams to deliver efficient, safe and compliant transport activities.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 5am to 3pm, and offers opportunities for growth within a leading Australian manufacturer focused on sustainable building products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in dispatch, transport coordination or logistics operations.
• Experience with SAP, TMS or WMS.
• Strong safety and CoR knowledge.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including deliveries, stock transfers and customer pick-ups.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and site safety procedures.
• Create and manage transport shipments to ensure accurate freight allocation and vendor payments.
• Control yard movements and support efficient truck turnaround times.
• Liaise with drivers, transport providers, warehouse teams and customers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Utilise SAP and transport systems to process dispatch activities accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct site inductions and support adherence to safety requirements for visitors, contractors and drivers.
• Identify and implement improvements to dispatch processes and operational efficiency.

About the Role

Reporting to the DC Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities, managing transport documentation, supporting carrier and driver interactions, and ensuring deliveries, transfers and customer collections are completed safely and efficiently.

You will also act as the DC Manager's delegate during periods of absence, providing leadership, direction and support to the dispatch team while maintaining high standards of safety, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 5am to 3pm

What We're Looking For

• Experience in transport, logistics, warehousing or heavy vehicle operations.
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and transport compliance.
• 3+ years' experience in a dispatch, transport coordination or logistics operations role.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety within a transport or logistics environment.
• Experience working with transport management systems, warehouse management systems or SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach and a strong commitment to safety.
