Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite/on-call end-user support within a Windows-focused environment. The role involves triage, incident resolution, and coordination with multiple technical groups to ensure timely service delivery.

Candidates should have 3+ years in Level 1/2 support, strong AD/GP experience, PowerShell basics, and excellent communication. This position offers onsite work and collaboration within a dynamic IT team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1/2 desktop support across Windows environments and enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration, Intune, cloud and thick clients.
• Experience keeping up with Windows app and security updates.
• Experience providing web app support for Edge or Chrome.
• Ability to troubleshoot Office apps and manage Office licensing.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policies and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience coordinating with multiple technical groups and remote support.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and ticketing systems.
• Strong client communication and documentation in tickets.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite/on-call end-user support in Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to apps, browsers, and services.
• Coordinate with technical teams to fix issues and track progress in ticketing system.
• Document all work and outcomes thoroughly in tickets.
