Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking an experienced PM Operations Manager to oversee Derrimut site's daily operations, driving performance and service levels for key customers.

You will lead a team, manage transport operations in a 3PL environment, and partner with stakeholders to optimize productivity, safety, and cost management while delivering on the customer’s annual business plan.

Qualifications

• Superior knowledge and proven experience of transport operations within a 3PL environment.
• Experience in leading and managing a team across daily operations, development, and succession planning.
• End-to-end knowledge of supply chain and transport operations with cost management focus.
• Strong people management with ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
• Outstanding customer relationship skills and commitment to high service standards.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Experience with TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control operations for the customer, ensuring a safe working environment with cost effective activities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customer and stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams.
• Ensure the customer's annual business plan including revenue, profit and service levels are met, and take corrective action as needed.

• Manage and control operations for the customer, ensuring a safe working environment coupled with cost effective operational activities
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customer and stakeholders, both internal and external
• Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams
• Ensure customer's annual business plan including revenue, profit and service levels are met, and correct action is taken to rectify

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Superior knowledge and proven experience of Transport operations within a 3PL environment
• Experience in leading and managing a team across daily operations, development, and succession planning
• Exceptional end to end knowledge of supply chain and transport operations, with a background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
• Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Experience with TMS systems
