EVT is seeking kitchen staff to join a dynamic team across its hotel portfolio, including Atura. The role focuses on preparing and cooking to high standards, liaising with the Chef de Partie, and maintaining hygiene and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring cooking experience, food product knowledge, and a solid understanding of workplace safety, with a professional appearance and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in general or specialised cooking, butchering, baking or pastry cooking.
• Sound knowledge of food products.
• A working knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• The ability to follow standard operating procedures and hotel policies.
• A professional approach to personal presentation, in line with the hotel's grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in the kitchen as directed, safely and hygienically, to the Hotel's high quality food standards.
• Liaise daily with the Chef de Partie to set and deliver the day's priorities.
• Complete your work in a timely and efficient way while minimising wastage.
• Keep your work area clean and safe, and follow all workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Follow established standard operating procedures and hotel policies at all times.
• Assist in training and developing junior kitchen team members, and step in for the Chef de Partie when they are absent.
