EVT in Melbourne is seeking a kitchen team member to produce high quality meals with the kitchen team for service and events across our hotels. You will prepare and garnish pantry items, follow recipes, and maintain food quality and portion control in line with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food products, recipes, and proper portion control.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond quickly.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality meals with the kitchen team for service and functions.
• Prepare and garnish pantry items including salads and desserts as directed.
• Follow recipes and maintain knowledge of menu items.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and inventory in line with policies.
• Check storage areas to ensure correct storage and cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and follow WH&S guidelines.
