Mercure Melbourne is seeking a passionate Full-Time Demi Chef to join our busy hotel kitchen. You will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, work across sections, and uphold hygiene and safety standards to ensure excellence during service.

You will support senior chefs, contribute to inventory tasks, train junior staff, and help sustain a positive kitchen culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or high-volume kitchen.
• Strong cooking techniques across styles.
• Formal culinary training preferred.
• Able to work mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and presentation of dishes to hotel standards.
