Job summary

Dragonfly Shipping is seeking hands-on Operations Support team members to join our Caloundra delivery hub on a Tuesday to Saturday schedule, 2:00pm–10:00pm. You will coordinate deliveries, support drivers, and keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes, with daily loads and issue resolution helping the flow of packages.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Strong customer service and solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery operations by preparing reports and assisting with package tracking and processing.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, including returns, to ensure the efficient flow of parcels.
• Work closely with Drivers and Delivery Partners to coordinate loadout and resolve any delivery issues quickly.
• Liaise with the call center to assist with customer updates or queries, providing on-the-ground support, and occasionally contacting customers directly via phone or email.
• Partner with Supervisors and team members to maintain smooth, day-to-day operations across the delivery centre.
• Jump in to assist with truck loading and unloading, ensuring packages are sorted and ready on time.
• Support the sortation team during peak times to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep accurate records through data entry and elevate any issues or special cases to Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.
