Job summary

Dragonfly Shipping is seeking hands-on Operations Support team members to join our Caloundra delivery hub on a Tuesday to Saturday schedule, 2:00pm–10:00pm. You will coordinate deliveries, support drivers, and keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes, with daily loads and issue resolution helping the flow of packages.

The role suits someone with warehouse or operations experience, excellent communication, and a solutions-focused mindset who wants growth within a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Strong customer service and solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery operations by preparing reports and assisting with package tracking and processing.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, including returns, to ensure the efficient flow of parcels.
• Work closely with Drivers and Delivery Partners to coordinate loadout and resolve any delivery issues quickly.
• Liaise with the call center to assist with customer updates or queries, providing on-the-ground support, and occasionally contacting customers directly via phone or email.
• Partner with Supervisors and team members to maintain smooth, day-to-day operations across the delivery centre.
• Jump in to assist with truck loading and unloading, ensuring packages are sorted and ready on time.
• Support the sortation team during peak times to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep accurate records through data entry and elevate any issues or special cases to Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.

About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Operations Support team members to join our Caloundra delivery hub. If you’ve got experience working in a warehouse or operations environment and are confident liaising with drivers, coordinating deliveries, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the role for you.

You will be the go-to person for supporting the flow of packages in and out of the site, helping to prepare daily loads, coordinating with delivery partners, supporting drivers on the road, and jumping in where needed to keep everything moving efficiently. You’ll also work autonomously to ensure issues are flagged early and resolved quickly.
