Job summary

Uber in Sydney is seeking an Operations & Communications Associate to shape how we communicate with Delivery Partners. You will support campaigns, engagement activities, and rollout of new programs to improve the Delivery experience.

The role requires strong communication skills, hands-on operational mindset, and collaboration with multiple teams to deliver timely, engaging messaging and initiatives. Hybrid work, ASAP start, 12-month duration, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, operations, marketing, project coordination, or a related role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate messaging.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
• High attention to detail, with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to use data to track performance and inform decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, with a willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Drive Delivery communications: Support the development and execution of the Delivery communications strategy, including campaign planning, content creation, and delivery across multiple channels to ensure clear, timely, and engaging messaging.
• Deliver Delivery Experience initiatives: Coordinate and execute programs that improve the Delivery experience, including engagement activities, feedback forums, and other initiatives that strengthen relationships with Delivery Partners.
• Own operational execution: Manage projects end to end, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and on schedule.
• Measure and optimise performance: Track communications effectiveness, engagement metrics, and initiative outcomes, using data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate across teams: Partner with Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, and other stakeholders to align communications and initiatives with business priorities and local market needs.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance communications through new tools, AI, and automation.
