Job summary

Business Review Group is seeking experienced Project Officers to support operations within a Defence environment, contributing to delivery, governance, and control of projects. The role suits those with project support fundamentals and hands-on PM experience, including documentation, project controls, and governance forum support.

Location is Canberra on-site with a TSPV security clearance. The engagement is 12 months with potential extensions; rate is $120/hour.

Qualifications

Current TSPV security clearance
Ability to work on-site in Canberra
Demonstrated experience in project, program or portfolio support and project delivery
Strong written communication skills (briefs, reports, governance docs)
Ability to use project management tools, processes and control mechanisms across schedule, risk, quality, finance and configuration management
Capacity to complete Organisation Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement

Responsibilities

Assist with preparations for project test, evaluation and acceptance programs.
Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
Research, draft and prepare briefs, correspondence, reports and submissions for committee consideration.
Maintain project financial records under the supervision of the Project Manager.
Support effective project planning, scheduling, tracking, risk management and governance activities.
Contribute to accurate project records, status reporting and documentation using established methods and tools.
