Job summary

Downer Professional Services in Canberra is seeking a motivated Project Support Officer to help deliver and sustain Defence capabilities. You will support procurement, governance, logistics, and project coordination across multiple stakeholders to keep critical systems available for Defence users.

The role involves assisting with RFQs/RFTs, ASDEFCON documentation, contract administration, and SAP invoice processing, while building strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and industry

Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects, governance, logistics, or Defence programs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement, sustainment and logistics activities for Defence capability delivery.
• Assist with RFQs, RFTs, ASDEFCON documentation and contract administration.
• Prepare briefs, reports and project documentation; manage data and correspondence.
