The Opportunity
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role supporting project delivery, procurement activities, stakeholder engagement, equipment management, and project administration functions within a collaborative Defence environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities, including preparation, review, and coordination of procurement documentation.
- Generate purchase orders, manage invoice approvals, and support financial administration activities.
- Coordinate with end users and industry partners to facilitate sustainment and warranty support activities.
- Manage equipment preparation, dispatch, tracking, and movements through Defence supply chain processes.
- Support asset disposal activities, including equipment subject to controlled handling requirements.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans and supporting documentation.
- Prepare briefs, reports, submissions, and correspondence for senior stakeholder consideration.
- Support project risk management activities and maintain project registers.
- Manage project correspondence, shared mailboxes, and project information management processes.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across Defence and industry.
- Provide broader project support as required to assist delivery outcomes.

- Formal project management qualifications or working towards certification.
