Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy and cost estimation for complex Defence bids, contract changes and task orders. You will drive governance, modelling and risk analysis while collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure compliant, competitive proposals.

The role requires a degree in commerce or accounting with CA/CPA and Defence pricing experience being highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or similar.
• CA / CPA (or equivalent) required or equivalent professional qualification.
• Defence pricing experience or cost estimating background is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of Defence acquisition/governance frameworks and CASG principles.
• Advanced financial modelling and Microsoft Excel capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing and cost estimates across Defence proposals and contract variations.
• Develop competitive pricing aligned to Defence cost principles.
• Interpret RFPs and ensure pricing compliance with Defence requirements.
• Present cost models to senior leadership, customers and audit bodies.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
• Support post-award pricing, negotiations and claims.
• Lead and mentor a pricing team.
