Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd in Australia seeks an Estimating and Pricing Manager to lead the estimating function within the MCS Program. You'll deliver high-quality estimates, pricing submissions and estimating services to inform critical business decisions, working with Commercial, Bid and Leadership teams to build capability, tools and processes for estimating excellence.

You'll shape and mature a critical business capability, lead a high-performing team, and influence estimating strategy and processes across

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
• Extensive estimating, project controls and scheduling experience.
• Experience leading and developing teams, coaching and performance management.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing business objectives with customer needs.
• Experience on major defence programs or complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with ProPricer, ERP, EVMS, Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, MS Project and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of estimating processes and guidelines.
• Manage MCS Estimating Department Plan development and upkeep.
• Build and maintain estimating database from historical data.
• Deliver estimates and pricing aligned with timelines.
• Provide estimating expertise and commercial advice on bids and submissions.
• Lead customer review responses and respond to stakeholder queries.
• Manage estimating resources, priorities and budgets.
• Foster relationships across Commercial, Program and Leadership teams.
• Coach and develop estimators to build capability and reduce single points of failure.
