Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Customer Technical Lead - Data Centre to join our One Solution team in Australia. This senior, customer-facing role blends technical design with commercial acumen to create innovative data centre solutions for enterprise facilities and hyperscale environments.

You will lead technical workshops, develop cost models and proposals, and partner with sales to guide opportunities from discovery through to solution deployment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in application engineering, solution architecture or presales in data centres.
• Strong knowledge of data centre electrical infrastructure, power distribution, cooling and monitoring.
• Experience designing and optimizing integrated data centre solutions.
• Experience preparing costings, proposals and technical submissions.
• Ability to balance technical, commercial and operational considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise data centre solutions across power, cooling, monitoring and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with sales to develop customer strategies and drive technical engagement.
• Develop solution designs, cost models, proposals and BOMs.
• Lead technical workshops and design reviews with customers and consultants.
• Influence specifications through pre-tender engagement and prescriptions.
• Provide guidance on reliability, energy efficiency and sustainability best practices.
• Contribute to innovation and improvements across the data centre portfolio.
