Job summary

Schneider Electric's Cloud & Service Provider (C&S P) division in Australia is seeking a Project Manager based in Canberra to lead complex electrical and infrastructure projects for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centres.

You will develop plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks, act as primary client interface, collaborate with engineering, supply chain, safety, and commercial teams, and oversee contractors on live construction sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex projects in electrical, construction, or data centre environments.
• Formal project management methodology knowledge (PMP or equivalent preferred).
• Experience with industrial relations site requirements is a plus.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and contract management capabilities.
• Hands-on experience on construction sites and electro-intensive environments.
• Electrical background via Engineering degree or trade qualification.
• Current and unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are achieved.
• Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, cost control, and risk mitigation.
• Act as the primary customer interface, building trusted relationships and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, safety, and commercial teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and third parties, ensuring alignment to project requirements and standards.
• Conduct site visits and oversee delivery in live construction/data centre environments.
• Apply strong commercial acumen to manage project profitability and contractual obligations.
