Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Engineer, Power Infrastructure to join the One Solution Centre in Sydney, Australia, and lead the technical delivery of data centre and mission‑critical power projects. You will own the technical solution from tender through execution, coordinating with factories, suppliers and customers to ensure compliant, reliable and scalable outcomes.

This senior role requires strong leadership, PE registration (or equivalent), and deep expertise in critical power

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical scopes and major projects.
• Experience in data centres, hyperscale, or mission‑critical environments.
• Proven ability to develop technical proposals and support project execution.
• Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage distribution, transformers, UPS, batteries, protection and control, EPMS integration.
• Professional Engineer registration (PE) considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical solutions for major data centre and mission‑critical opportunities.
• Analyse customer requirements and specifications to develop compliant and optimized power infrastructure solutions.
• Support tender development through technical reviews, customer presentations, risk assessments, and solution validation.
• Act as the technical owner from handover through project completion.
• Coordinate engineering activities across factories, suppliers, and partners.
• Review and approve detailed engineering deliverables to ensure compliance.
