Job summary

AirTrunk in Sydney is seeking a Maintenance Services Manager to lead the on-site technician team, partnering with the Senior Technical Service Manager to ensure 100% uptime and compliance with SLAs.

You will plan and supervise maintenance, drive incident resolution, and align with SOP, MOP and EOP while coordinating with vendors and customers. This role offers the chance to grow within a hyperscale environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical and electrical experience in data centres or related facilities.
• Ability to establish and review MOPs, incident reports, and root cause analyses.
• Experience running 3rd party service providers and negotiating quotes.
• Familiar with customer portals, BMS and CMMS systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Flexible, forward-thinking and change-oriented with strong customer management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site technician team and report to the STSM; raise issues as required.
• Manage 24/7 technical operations and ensure coverage and uptime.
• Set performance goals, coach and develop team members.
• Investigate and resolve complex on-site issues and incidents.
• Ensure SOP, MOP and EOP alignment and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain asset maintenance plans and update for new equipment or regs.
• Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, upgrades with proper supervision.
• Review change procedures and train staff accordingly.
• Maintain regulatory compliance across environmental, building, fire, electrical and OH&S.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers; act as primary contact and on-call responder.
• Attend critical switching and isolation events outside normal hours.
• Monitor operational metrics and conduct risk analysis.
• Perform regular property inspections.
