Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead a site-based team in a major Australian hyperscale data centre. You will drive uptime, safety, and compliance while coordinating with engineering, facilities, and customers.

Experience in data centres, strong leadership, and third‑party management are essential. You will oversee maintenance planning, asset documentation, and cost control, while guiding the team through change management and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing mechanical and electrical in data centres or related fields.
• Solid understanding of data centre infrastructure including power and cooling systems.
• Ability to read single line diagrams and maintain SOPs, MOPs and EOPs.
• Experience overseeing third-party service providers and budgets.
• Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical environment maintenance planning at the data centre.
• Lead, mentor and train site-based technical resources and manage contracts.
• Ensure uptime, safety, and adherence to customer SLAs.
• Coordinate with development teams for construction activity and testing.
• Manage OPEX budget and track operational metrics and risks.
