Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead site-based technical teams and manage maintenance and operations at a data centre in Australia. You will drive uptime, safety, and customer-focused service delivery while coordinating with the Operations team.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work, ensuring compliance with ISMS, SOC2, PCI, ISO9001, and ISO14001. Strong leadership and industry knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing mechanical/electrical in data centres.
• Electrical or mechanical trade background or degree.
• Knowledge of local statutory regulations.
• Ability to review SOPs, maintenance reports, CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
• Able to read single line diagrams.
• Experience running 3rd party service providers and contracts.
• Strong leadership and supervising small teams.
• Customer-centric approach and front-line leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical environment maintenance planning at the data centre.
• Lead, mentor, and train site based technical resources and contract management of facilities providers.
• Work with Building Services Manager on property related matters.
• Ensure 100% uptime and SLA compliance with customers.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, change management, incident management and safety.
• Manage customer capacity plans and ensure power capacity plans are maintained.
