Data Center Maintenance Planner & Asset Coordinator

Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Operations team. You will work on maintenance planning, asset management, and CMMS data integrity for hyperscale data centres across NSW.

The role involves coordinating on-site technicians, managing work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. You will act as a reliability champion, refining maintenance plans, monitoring condition data, and supporting audits and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a maintenance planning function, ideally in critical environment or data centres.
• A degree/technical qualification in a relevant field such as electrical/mechanical/MEP engineering
• Strong experience in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems like ServiceNow, Maximo, Si7, Tririga, and Archibus etc.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Packages such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data utilizing BI tools, and pivot tables is a plus
• Familiarity with local/national regulatory codes, guidelines, and permit processes
• Understanding of ITIL and mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent understanding of data centre operations and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical team members
• Analyse complex problems, identify root causes, develop and implement effective solutions

Responsibilities

• Support the MSM in delivering asset management services including maintenance planning, condition monitoring, and lifecycle planning
• Provide asset data management, CMMS/IWMS data, maintenance task specs, drawings, and reports
• Coordinate work orders and admin tasks for on-site technicians and suppliers
• Act as the reliability champion for the site and support RC M delivery
• Manage and raise work orders and access requests for repairs and maintenance tasks
• Update 52 Week Plans and review asset/maintenance plans
• Refine CMMS data and upload service reports, RCAs and asset information
• Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance and work order processes
• Support other sites during peak periods as required
• Ensure accuracy of data in systems and prepare documentation for audits
• Source data for monthly and quarterly reports; perform ad hoc reporting
• Ensure compliance with environmental, building, fire, and safety regulations
• Assist general site Admin tasks and inventory management using CMMS tools
