Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Maintenance Services Manager to lead the on-site technical team at a hyperscale data centre in Sydney. You will work with the STSM and Operations to achieve 100% uptime, supervise technicians, and coordinate with vendors for planned and reactive maintenance.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical/electrical data centre operations, strong SOP and incident-analysis skills, and solid collaboration across internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical and electrical experience in data centres.
• Ability to produce and review SOPs, incident reports and root-cause analyses.
• Experience coordinating 3rd party service providers and negotiating quotes.
• Familiar with Customer Portals, BMS and CMMS systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with customers.
• Flexible, proactive and change-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site maintenance team, coordinating with STSM and reporting issues as required.
• Manage resources, including technical and 24/7 staff, and cover leave.
• Supervise and improve on-site technician performance and development.
• Handle complex technical issues and incidents at the site.
• Ensure SOP, MOP, EOP alignment and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare asset maintenance plans and oversee planned maintenance and upgrades.
• Attend critical switching and incident response; participate in on-call roster.
