Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a motivated Customer Service Officer for a Darwin-based building supplies client. You will be the first point of contact, handle enquiries, process orders and ensure customers receive accurate information.

You will work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to keep daily operations running smoothly and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, sales support or administration.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in building supplies, hardware or construction materials would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face.
• Process customer orders, quotes and sales transactions accurately.
• Assist customers with product information, pricing and availability.
• Coordinate orders, deliveries and collections with the warehouse team.
• Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Assist with general administration and day-to-day branch operations.
• Resolve customer enquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
