Business Unit The Customer Experience team connects our community with Council services by providing accurate, timely and welcoming assistance across face-to-face, phone and online channels. The team supports customers with a broad range of enquiries and services, helping resolve their needs wherever possible at the first point of contact.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be a friendly and professional first point of contact. You will provide accurate information and assistance in person, over the phone and online, while helping customers access a broad range of Council and community services. This varied role includes processing payments, responding to customer enquiries and supporting library, visitor information and Centrelink Agency services. You will also help ensure the Omeo Service Centre remains welcoming, organised and professionally presented. This is a casual position based at the Omeo Service Centre, with hours offered according to operational requirements.
A current Victorian driver's licence is required.
