Job summary

Aliaxis in Adelaide is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team at the North Plympton site. You will be the first point of contact for distributor customers, handling orders, pricing inquiries and delivery updates while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will collaborate with Sales, Distribution, Production, Finance, and Quality teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and identify ways to improve service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within manufacturing/retail/trade/hospitality or FMCG sectors.
• Strong customer-resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate with MS Office; ERP/CRM experience (SAP/Salesforce advantageous).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders to influence and negotiate outcomes.
• Demonstrated team player with collaborative style and positive attitude.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
• Can-do attitude, flexibility, and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and support distributor customers.
• Provide order updates, assist with product availability, promotions, and pricing inquiries.
• Receive, process and verify orders via email, phone, and EDI.
• Maintain accurate notes on client files for seamless service.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with Sales, Distribution, Production, Finance, Administration, and Quality teams.
• Suggest methods to improve efficiency and service for internal and external customers.
