Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our North Plympton team. You will be the first point of contact for distributor customers, handling orders, pricing and delivery inquiries, and providing timely solutions while delivering exceptional service.

You will report to the Customer Service Team Leader and work closely with Sales, Distribution, Production, Finance and Administration to ensure a seamless customer experience and accurate order management.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within manufacturing, retail, trade, hospitality or FMCG.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and be logged into the phone system to ensure availability.
• Provide order updates, assist customers with product availability, promotions and pricing.
• Receive, process and verify orders via email, phone and EDI.
• Manage caseload efficiently with accurate notes in client files.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work and seek help when needed.
• Stay positive under pressure and keep others informed of issues.
• Suggest methods to improve efficiency and service for customers.
