Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a Customer Service Officer for our North Plympton site. You’ll support distributor customers by processing orders, answering pricing and delivery questions, and handling phone inquiries with a customer-centric approach.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Distribution, Production, Finance, Administration and Quality to ensure accurate, timely service while maintaining strong relationships and a positive team dynamic.

Qualifications

• Some customer service experience in manufacturing, retail, trade, hospitality or FMCG.
• Experience handling customer resolutions and problem-solving.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM familiarity (SAP and Salesforce advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and maintain availability for the Call Centre.
• Provide order updates and assist with product availability, promotions and pricing queries.
• Receive, process and verify orders via email, phone or EDI.
• Manage caseload with accurate notes on files for a seamless experience.
• Build positive relationships across Sales, Distribution, Production, Finance, Administration and Quality.
• Take ownership of work quality and seek help when needed.
• Remain calm under pressure and keep others informed of issues.
• Suggest ways to improve efficiency and service for customers.
