Delta Group is seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator to support our transport operations and ensure safe, efficient daily deliveries. The role suits someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, managing priorities and building relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Based in Melbourne, you will coordinate daily transport plans, liaise with customers and suppliers, and maintain accurate records while supporting Stores and Transport functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport coordination, scheduling or similar operational support roles.
• Strong Excel/data reporting skills with ability to analyse data.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities with competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and records accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, show good judgement and make fast decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Flexible, proactive approach and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport schedules and journey planning to support efficient operations.
• Manage customer delivery requirements and changing priorities.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, transport providers and subcontractors to ensure on-time, safe deliveries.
• Maintain accurate transport, scheduling, and compliance records.
• Monitor transport performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keep subcontractor records, documentation and compliance up to date.
• Provide general administrative support to Stores and Transport functions.
• Assist in resolving scheduling issues and operational challenges as they arise.
