Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, part of Accor, seeks a passionate Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team in Melbourne. If you have a can-do attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist with food preparation across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events, maintain hygiene standards, and help control stock and waste.

Qualifikationen

• Can-do attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or banqueting environment.
• Excellent technical knowledge with cooking techniques and styles.
• Food Safety Certificate is essential.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Assist with food preparation and production for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, banqueting and buffet service.
• Maintain clean, hygienic and organised work environments and HACCP standards.
• Perform tasks in a timely manner to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain stock rotation and stock control to reduce wastage and keep hygiene standards.
• Promote culinary artistry and consistently high food production quality.
• Liaise with Kitchen teams on special requests or delayed meals/production.
