Qualifications

• Genuine passion for cooking and developing culinary skills.
• Previous kitchen experience, ideally in hotel/busy breakfast environment.
• Commercial cookery qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
• Good organisation and attention to detail during busy service.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and team focus.
• Availability for 5:30am starts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard with consistent quality.
• Assist with daily mise en place and ensure ingredients are ready for service.
• Maintain a clean, organised, well-stocked workstation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and storage procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen team for smooth breakfast service.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to meet standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and stock control as required.
