Job summary

Jetstar is seeking a Crewing Officer to help maintain the integrity of the Day of Operations flying program and ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and CASA requirements. You will work within the Operations Delivery team to manage daily crewing for tech and cabin crew at our Docklands headquarters.

The role requires experience in fast-paced operations, strong communication, and the ability to operate on a 24-hour rotating shift roster.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of airline, transport or logistics operations is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-based operational environment.
• Ability to work effectively under time, operational and cost pressures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Knowledge of Sabre Rocade (desirable).
• Flexibility to work a 24-hour rotating shift roster.
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a dynamic environment.
• Initiative and sound judgement, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
• Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all flights have the sufficient crew complement as schedule varies.
• Ensure rosters and duties comply with rostering limitations and CASA rules.
• Monitor daily operations to maintain crew movement in line with CASA and Company requirements.
• Liaise with Training to ensure crew training requirements are met.
• Notify crew of changes to rosters in a timely manner.
• Manage accommodation and transportation for crew movements.
• Prepare reports and support functions as per policy.
