Jetstar is seeking a Crewing Officer at our Docklands HQ to ensure daily operations are staffed in compliance with CASA and company policies. You’ll report to the Manager Crewing Operations & Planning and work with a dynamic team to keep flights crewed on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of airline, transport or logistics operations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-based operational environment.
• Ability to work effectively under time, operational and cost pressures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Knowledge of Sabre Rocade (desirable).
• Flexibility to work a 24-hour rotating shift roster.
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a dynamic environment.
• Initiative and sound judgement, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
• Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all flights have the sufficient crew complement in response to changes in crew availability and daily operational schedule variations.
• Ensure all rosters and allocated duties / changes comply with rostering limitations and all applicable CASA legislation.
• Monitor the day-to-day Operations and ensure all Crew Movements are maintained in accordance with CASA and Company requirements to optimise the Daily Operational Integrity.
• Liaise with the Training team to ensure all Flight crew training requirements are achieved.
• Ensure all crew are notified of any changes to their published roster in a timely manner.
• Manage accommodation and transportation for crew movements.
• Ensure all reports and support functions are actioned as per company and departmental policy.
• Ensure all Government and Airport Departments (i.e. Immigration, Customs and Handling Agents) nationally and internationally are kept up to date with all relevant documentation.
• Ensure all crew that are travelling as a passenger are booked and ticketed on their respective flights.
• Maintain a working relationship with Crew Planning Department and all Regional Base Managers.
• Maintain Crew Schedule Integrity.
