Job summary

EnergyAustralia is seeking a Credit Strategy Leader to drive credit risk, collections strategy and process optimisation within the Customer Operations unit. The role manages PowerCurve Collections, supports risk capability across portfolios, and delivers cost-out initiatives while leading a team of 7.

Based in Docklands with a hybrid work pattern (2–3 days in the office), you will translate data into effective credit strategies and ensure regulatory reporting to the AER and ESC is accurate and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in credit risk, collections strategy, customer operations, analytics or a related operational leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the configuration and operation of the PowerCurve Collections system across assigned portfolios.
• Support credit risk strategy across Residential, SME and C&I portfolios, including segmentation and scoring.
• Identify initiatives to reduce cost-to-serve and improve process efficiency.
• Own the controls and assurance framework for credit strategy activities; ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
• Manage vendor relationships related to PowerCurve and collections activities; lead a team focused on accountability.
• Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Finance and Compliance teams to ensure controls are effective.
